This is the state-law supplement to our Privacy Policy. It applies if you are a resident of California (CCPA/CPRA) or of another US state with a comprehensive privacy statute, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and Utah.

Categories involved: identifiers — IP address, cookie IDs, device identifiers; internet activity — browsing on this site, referrers, timing; and contact details, but only if you volunteered them. These come from your device directly and from analytics or advertising partners where such partners are engaged.

Exercising Your Rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Some states also allow you to appeal a refusal. Exercising any of this will not get you worse service, higher prices, or reduced access — discrimination for using these rights is prohibited and we do not do it.

On Sale and Sharing

Personal information is not sold for money by Silkdecade. That said, where advertising is served, ad partners may receive cookie or device identifiers, and under the CCPA/CPRA and similar statutes that may amount to a ‘sale’ or to ‘sharing’ for targeted advertising. Opt out via Do Not Sell or Share My Information. Under-16 data is not knowingly involved.

Making a Request

Send requests to hello@silkdecade.com. The Global Privacy Control browser signal is honoured automatically and is the simplest way to opt out. We verify identity by replying to the address that contacted us, respond within the time allowed by the applicable state law, and accept requests from an authorised agent with written proof of authority.
